'Stuart Little' was originally published as a children's book some decades ago. The story by author E B White is about a young person called 'Stuart Little' who is shy as a mouse and eager to please. Yet, he is amazingly courageous and gets involved in many adventures that are entertaining to read about.

In 1999, the 'Stuart Little' story was adapted into a film and since then sequels of the film have been released, including an animated television series.

In the film, 'Stuart Little' is a mouse who is taken on as a new member of the 'Little' family, who are keen to have a little brother for their son George. However, George has no idea that Stuart is a mouse and takes some time to get used to the idea. The family cat Snowbell is also not pleased about a mouse joining their family and tries to make life difficult for Stuart.

Nevertheless, Stuart is a strong character with a pleasant nature and does not give up easy. He is portrayed in the film as having a great amount of courage and heroic qualities that eventually win George over to him and even the cat comes round to the idea of accepting Stuart as part of the 'Little' family.
